5 Little Monsters: Scalloped Edge Crocheted Pencil Bag

Scalloped Edge Crocheted Pencil Bag

-This project sponsored by Darice-

When I try to think of stuff I can crochet for back to school time one of the first things I think of is always pencil bags. If you have followed my blog for a while you probably know that I have made several different versions of my basic pencil bag, a monster, and owl, a ninja turtle, and even a TARDIS. This time I decided to go with something simple but a little more girly. I added a scalloped edge to the button flap, I also left it straight instead of angling it in like I did on the others, and added a simple little, loopy flower to the front.

I wanted to add just a couple small feminine touches to the bag to keep it simple and pretty. A perfect little bag for holding pens and pencils, or markers, or whatever little treasure you want to keep there.

You can find the free pattern for the the Scalloped Edge Pencil Bag on the Darice craft blog Live Craft Love.
