I have not posted a new dishcloth/washcloth pattern for a long time, but I have been working on a few bigger projects that have been taking some time to finish and I wanted to make something small that I could finish quickly. I love international sporting events, like I never really pay attention to soccer but I love following the World Cup or the Copa America and Euro Cup type tournaments. Not to the point where I actually watch the games, but I like to follow along with how each country is doing. And the Olympics are the biggest international competition of them all so I always get excited when the Olympics come around, doesn't matter if it is winter or summer. And again, I don't watch all of the events but I love following along with the medal counts and watching some of the events throughout the games, even the ones I know nothing about like curling.

Summer is in full swing here and life has been a bit crazy with all of the summer activities. I have not been posting as much as I had hoped to the past couple of months. Every year as the school year winds down I think that this year will be different and I will actually be organized enough to get all of the projects I have planned done and posted despite every other part of my life being super busy. A few years ago I made a crocheted dinosaur softie as part of a softie crochet-a-long. It was just a super generic dinosaur, not any specific kind, but after that I decided I wanted to make a whole set of dinosaurs of different kinds. May is always such a crazy month. I think part of it is the fact that it isn't really a yarn you use for warmth so it isn't used as much for cold weather accessories and winter projects.
