5 Little Monsters: 12 Unicorn Crafts

12 Unicorn Crafts

Having posted a few new unicorn themed crochet patterns over the past few weeks I thought it would be fun to do a quick unicorn craft roundup and put all of the unicorn crafts I have made in one place. And since I have a unicorn obsessed daughter I have quite a few.

There are several crochet patterns, and some Cricut crafts using iron on, vinyl, and paper. There are even a couple holiday crafts. Click on the pictures or titles below to go to the posts.

1. Crocheted Unicorn Hat with Flowers

I thought I would start with this one because it is consistently one of my most popular posts, definitely my most popular unicorn post. My daughter loved this hat and has worn it for a few years now. It is great for a fun winter hat, but she also used it as part of a Halloween costume so we kind of got double duty from it.

2. Lucy's Crochet Unicorn

Next is this stuffed unicorn doll I made for my daughter Lucy. I used multiple strands of worsted weight yarn to make a big stuffed animal that would work up fast for its size.

3. Crocheted Unicorn Purse

This is my most recent unicorn project, I just shared the pattern in my last post. A fun twist on a little girls purse.

4. Unicorn Pencil bag

Another fairly new pattern is the Unicorn Pencil Bag. A fun little pouch decorated to look like a unicorn.

5. Unicorn Magic Headband

This one is also pretty new. It was actually inspired by the Unicorn Hat. I wanted to make something that was similar in design but could be used even when the weather didn't warrant a winter hat. This headband is a fun accessory year round.

6. Always be a Unicorn T-Shirt

This shirt is part of a set of 5 designs that say "Always be Yourself Unless...". I designed them as samples for a class I taught to demonstrate knockout designs. I love the look of the unicorn head cut out of the words.

7. I Heart Unicorns Shirt

Another Unicorn themed t-shirt design, this one much simpler than the last. The foil iron on gives it a nice metallic finish perfect for little girls.

8. I Believe in Magic Pillow Cover

In this tutorial I talk about how to upload your own images into Cricut Design Space, like the unicorn I used in this design.

9. Follow Your Dreams Unicorn Sign

This sign uses a combination of stencil and paint, and vinyl. The words are painted on using a stencil. The Unicorn is cut out of holographic vinyl, depending on how you look at it it will look pink, purple, or blue.

10. Unicorn Cupcake Toppers

These simple cupcake toppers are so easy to make and they are the perfect finishing touch to a unicorn themed party. Especially with the super shimmery glitter paper.

11. Crocheted Unicorn Ornament

Last but not least, I have a couple of holiday specific unicorn projects. First this unicorn themed Christmas ornament. A simple ball shaped ornament with a unicorn face and flowers around its horn.

 12. And finally, an Easter project. I know Easter is still a ways away but these simple little egg covers are really quick to make and a fun way to dress up and Easter basket.
