Today is the last of the Harry Potter projects I will be sharing this month, of course it also happens to be the last day of the month. This time a Cricut project, a design that I used to make a t-shirt, but you could use it for anything you want.

Time for another Harry Potter project today, although this one is not really super Harry Potter specific. It could work for any magic theme where wands are involved.

Each year in July I try to share some Harry Potter Projects, and this year I am almost out of time but I want to squeeze a couple in before the end of the month. I had a whole week of Christmas in July crafts planned, followed by a whole week of Harry Potter crafts, but then Covid hit our family and knocked me out for a few days and messed up the plans I had for the end of the month. So I cut the Christmas in July a little short with only 3 projects, and will do the same with the Harry Potter projects.

One last Christmas in July project to go along with my Christmas Finger Puppet Set, and Moss Stitch Stocking. Since those two projects were crocheted I wanted to do something different for this one, so I made a Cricut project.

It is time for a little bit of Christmas in July! Every year I have so many ideas for things I want to make for Christmas, home decor, ornaments, gifts I want to make. And every year I get a fraction of it actually done. It seems like there is never enough time to get it all done, unless you get an early start, like in July.

For me crafting is a big stress reliever. It is almost therapeutic for me when I am feeling really stressed or overwhelmed with life, to pick up some yarn and a crochet hook, or a paintbrush, or go sit at my sewing machine and make something. Sometimes when I am feeling that way I just want to make something without really thinking too much about it, just sit down and create something. At those times one of my favorite things to do is get out some paints and just play around with them.

It has been quite a while since I have posted a new dishcloth/washcloth pattern, but they are one of my favorite things to crochet in the summer. They are small and quick to make, and a fun way to try out new stitches. So I thought it was time for another.

Summer time can be a little rough with kids, at least in my house. On days when we aren't doing anything all my kids want to do is sit with a screen in front of their face. We have rules about when they can have technology, things they have to do before they can have it (reading, chores, etc.), time limits, and all of that. But without fail, every single morning, I have at least one kid begging me to let them have technology early. You would think by halfway through summer break they would quit asking, but they have not given up yet.

A new month means it is time for another Team Creative Crafts collaboration. If you have been following me for any length of time you probably know that I am a Harry Potter fan, so I was pretty excited about the theme for this month which happens to be Harry Potter Crafts. This will be a little bit of a sneak peek for later this month when I have some more Harry Potter inspired projects planned. Scroll down to see the other fun projects shared this month and to enter to win a fun Harry Potter themed giveaway.

Today I am sharing a project as part of the Christmas in July Make Along with Underground Crafter. Every day through the month of July a new project will be shared to kick off your holiday crafting and get you an early start on gifts for this year. There will be crochet, knitting, and sewing projects with a different theme each week.

The bins where I store my skeins of yarn have started to overflow lately and so I have kind of been on a mission to try to use up my yarn stash. A couple of weeks ago I shared a couple of Mermaid Water Bottle Holders that I made with some colorful self striping yarn. I still had a little bit of that yarn left, some in the colors I used for the water bottle holders plus a couple more, all left over from some hats that I made last year.
