5 Little Monsters: Christmas Ornament- Mini Amigurumi Advent Day 7

Christmas Ornament- Mini Amigurumi Advent Day 7

Another day, another Mini Amigurumi Advent pattern and today, day 7,  it is a simple round Christmas Ornament.

The classic ball shaped ornament can be made in any color you want, and is a really quick and simple piece to make. I chose to go with red for my ornament because it is such a traditional Christmas color. It is about 3" in diameter.

The ornament is made by crocheting a ball shape and adding the face (optional, but it is pretty cute), then adding a little gray/silver topper with a loop for hanging. I kept my ornament really plain, just a red ball with a top on it, but if you wanted to dress your ornament up a little you could add a little bit of embroidery to it, maybe some snowflakes or stripes, or use a self-striping or variegated yarn to add a little more color.
