Carrot Shaped Dipped Rice Krispie Treats

I'm not sure why I have carrots on my mind for Easter projects this year, but for some reason I do since this is the second carrot themed project in a row that I am sharing. Earlier this week it was a crocheted carrot bag, and now dipped carrot shaped Rice Krispie treats for a fun Easter treat.

Crocheted Carrot Drawstring Treat Bag

A few weeks ago I was scrolling through Instagram and I saw a picture someone shared of a crocheted drawstring bag that was a peachy color with green at the top. For some reason, even though the bag was just a normal rectangle shape, and it was peach not orange, and had absolutely nothing to do with carrots, it immediately sparked an idea in my mind to make a carrot shaped/colored drawstring bag for Easter.

Spring is officially here and I am so ready for it. I don't mind the cold and snow of winter around Christmas time, but once we are getting to the end of January I am ready for the winter to be over and the warmer weather and longer days that come with Spring. By the end of March, when spring actually arrives, I am more than ready for it.

Cricut Cutaway Cards

One of my favorite things about the Cricut Joy is how easy it is to make cards for any occasion. When Cricut Joy first came out insert cards came out at the same time. I thought they were a really neat way to make cards, mostly because I'm not a huge paper crafter.  I enjoy simple paper projects, but I am not the place to come for amazing, complex cards that use lots of different techniques. If is is beyond gluing a couple of pieces of paper together it is probably not for me.

St. Patrick's Day Printable Treat Tags

I don't typically do a lot for St. Patrick's day beyond wearing green, but I thought it would be fun to make some little treat bags. There are lots of candies that I thought would be fun little treats for St. Patrick's Day, really you could use anything green, rainbow, or gold.

Baby Bear Crocheted Hat

A few months ago we had a family baby shower for my sister who was expecting her first baby. All of the girls in the family were invited and my girls each wanted to put together a gift to give to their new baby cousin from them. Each of them picked a little book, and chose a design for a onesie. My youngest daughter's nickname is Mare-Bear, or sometimes just Bear, so she chose a bear design for her onesie and a bear book. At the last minuteI thought it would be fun to add a little baby bear hat, so I made one up really fast to add to her gift.
