Aurora Scarf

I feel like for most crafters the end of the year is often spent making projects meant for others, whether for gifts for friends and family, or to sell during the holidays. Either way it seems like we don't keep a lot of what we make, so I thought that would be kind of fun to share some projects over the next few days that are things you could make for yourself. Not that you can't make them for others, just that you could make them for yourself if you want.

Crossover Crochet Hat Pattern

Last week I shared a new hat pattern based on the same style as my Bead Stitch Hat, the Crossed Doubles Hat. I mentioned I had some other designs I was working on. Today I am sharing one of those other hat designs. I will probably wait until we get close to fall before I share more designs, some of them I am still working on and I kind of want to set hats aside for now to work on some summer and spring projects.

Easy V-Stitch Baby Blanket

Looking for an Easy Crochet Baby Blanket tutorial? This one is really easy, kind of a mindless pattern, that works up really quick. It is made with using the v-stitch. I originally shared it a few years ago on Craftaholics Anonymous and I thought it was about time I shared it here too.

Smiling Sun Amigurumi

A few weeks ago I made a set of dishcloths with some Red Heart Scrubby Smoothie in yellow, orange, and pink. After I finished I still had probably about a half a skein of each color left. The colors reminded me of bright, sunny, summer days so I decided what better to make then a little smiling sun.

Colorblock Trinity Stitch Dishcloths

It has been a long time since I have posted a new dishcloth or washcloth pattern and I have been wanting to for a while. I was really excited when I saw that Red Heart had a new cotton yarn and decided that was the perfect opportunity to come up with a new pattern.
