Summer Perler Bead Patterns

In an attempt to keep the screen time to a minimum in our house these last few weeks with everyone home I thought it would be fun to set up a little kids activity station in our living room. Most of my kids really like doing little arts and crafts, but I don't really love them getting into my craft supplies. I thought maybe setting up an area with stuff that they could just use, no need to ask would help keep them busy and creative.

A few weeks ago I shared an ASL Mickey t-shirt design that I made for my son and my husband for our Disneyland trip a couple months ago but I have a couple more ASL Disney shirts that I haven't shared yet. I figured it was time to fix that and share another.

Easy Cards with Cricut Joy

With the kids home all day I have been trying to find lots of ways to keep them busy and entertained. My girls especially like doing arts and crafts type projects, either kids crafts or helping me with projects I am working on.

Easy Crocheted Sweeper Cover

Since today is Earth Day I thought it would be nice to share a pattern for something that was eco-friendly in some way. I immediately thought of reusable crochet items that replace disposable things that we use everyday, things like dishcloths, washcloths, and face scrubbies. Since I already have patterns for all of those things I decided to do a sweeper cover (for sweepers like a Swiffer).

My Cricut is one of my favorite crafting tools. I use it all the time, for so many projects. And right now (April 19-25) Cricut is having a huge sale on their Explore Air 2 machines. They are on sale for just $179 (some colors are $189) which is a great deal!

Crocheted Robot Softie

Today I am excited to be sharing a new crochet pattern as part of the 2020 Softie Crochet Along. This is the third year I have participated in this particular crochet along (my previous projects were a dinosaur and a flamingo), and I always look forward to it because softies are one of my favorite things to crochet.

Fabric Face Masks

I know there have been tons of tutorials recently for making fabric face masks and I debated whether or not I would post about it, but since the CDC recommended that we all wear DIY face masks when we go places like the grocery store I made a few and thought I would share a few tips that help the mask making process go smoother for me.

Yarn Wrapped Easter Eggs

Lately I have been enjoying really quick and easy craft projects. You would think being home more would mean more time for projects but that is not the case. Instead I find myself trying to find a few minutes here and there throughout the day to work on my own craft projects, or to make stuff with the kids. But with everything going on I find myself craving that creative time even more than normal.

ASL Mickey T-Shirt Design

Last month our family took a trip to Disneyland. It had been a really long time since we had gone on a family vacation and it was so much fun to have that time together. Of course as we were preparing to leave I had to make some shirts for the family. I decided not to do matching shirts and instead I made everyone different shirts that I thought they would like.
