12 Days of Crocheted Stocking Stuffers

DAY 2

It is the second day of the 12 Days of Crocheted Stocking Stuffers, 12 days where I will be sharing a new free crochet pattern every day for a small project that will fit in a stocking. The project for Day 2 is a set of puff stitch face scrubbies. If you missed Day 1 yesterday you can find the Quick & Easy Cowl HERE.

This is a really quick project, and it doesn't take a lot of yarn. If you have leftover cotton yarn this is the perfect project. The puff stitch makes them nice and thick.

I made 2 sizes, the larger size I like better as face cleaning cloths or scrubbies. The smaller size would be great for makeup remover pads, similar in size to the little cotton pads you can buy.

You can make a set, I think 3-5 is a good number, and package them up cute and put them in the stocking. Maybe add some face cream or cleanser, or some makeup remover to go along with it, or maybe even paired with some makeup.

For the larger set I made a paper wrap to go around them. I used my Cricut to cut them out and write on them and then just taped them around (I will include a link to the file I used in the instructions below). For the smaller makeup remover size I think they would look cute tied up in a little bag.

You can make them all in one color or an assortment of colors, either way they can be a quick and cute addition to your stockings.

Paper Wrap

To make the paper wrap open the Crocheted Face Scrubbies Paper Wrap Design Space File.

Draw and cut using cardstock and Cricut pens following the prompts in Design Space.

Wrap around the stack of scrubbies and secure with tape.

Alternatively, if you don't have a cricut you could just cut a strip of cardstock and write on it, my strip was 11.25" x 1.5".
