Normally I feel like it comes time for the next season and therefore the next mini amigurumi crochet along and I say something along the lines of I can't believe it is already this season, but this time I am so ready for it to be fall. I am ready for cooler temperatures, plus it is just my favorite time of year. There is just a cozy feeling that comes with fall that I love. But with a new season on the horizon that means it is also time for another Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along, the fourth, and likely final one of the year (I am thinking of doing a winter theme in January again instead of Christmas, but I haven't made a final decision yet). This year's fall themed Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along theme is...

Happy Harvest!

This will be my second food themed crochet along in a row, although I have actually had it planned for quite a while. This was my plan for last year's fall crochet along and then I ran out of time and decided I wouldn't be able to do a fall crochet along. Then I changed my mind again and at the last minute did the Bewitching Bears Crochet Along right before Halloween. But the original plan that had been on my calendar for months was a harvest themed crochet along, and now a year later it is finally happening.

For this crochet along I plan to have a variety of little fruits and vegetables representing fall harvest time. That being said not every fruit or vegetable included in the crochet along will be something harvested in the fall. I just thought the idea of a harvest fit with the fall theme, even though I know different crops may be harvested at different times. So really it is just fruits and vegetables. And like always I will add little smiling faces to them so I thought Happy Harvest would be a fun and appropriate name. Below are all of the details you need to know about this crochet along.

Here are all of the Crochet Along details:

When- The 2026 Fall Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along, Happy Harvest, will begin on Monday, September 14. It will run for 2 weeks, ending on September 26. One pattern will be released each day from Monday-Saturday, with no new pattern on Sunday, for a total of 12 patterns.

How Does it Work-  A new pattern will be released each day of the crochet along for a Mini Amigurumi that fits the theme (in this case Harvest/Fruits and Vegetables). The pattern will be posted for free on my blog, where it will remain indefinitely, this means that you can join or start up at any time, even after the crochet along is over. I will post the link to the new pattern each day on social media, as well as at the end of this post (this will be sort of a landing page for the crochet along). Once all 12 patterns have been posted I will release an ebook that will be available for purchase on Etsy and Ravelry that will include all 12 patterns. This is a great option for anyone who wants an ad-free, printable, PDF version of the patterns with all 12 in one place, but they will still remain free on my blog on their individual posts.

*Ebook with all 12 patterns will  be available for purchase on Etsy or Ravelry after all patterns have been released*

There is no need to join anything like there is with some crochet alongs, just follow along on social media, sign up for my newsletter, or simply check back on this post each day during the crochet along to see what the new pattern release is for that day.

What do you need- Now let's talk supplies. The main thing you will need for the crochet along is yarn, obviously. This crochet along will include 12 fruits and vegetables, so think of colors you would use for those- orange, red, yellow, brown, and green, etc. You can decide whether or not you would like to use bright colors, or if you want a more muted fall palette, or just use whatever scraps you have in your stash.  I always use worsted weight acrylic yarn for my mini amigurumi. They don't take a lot of yarn so these mini amigurumi are great for using up yarn in your stash as I mentioned above. In addition to the yarn you will need your usual crochet supplies like a hook and needle. I also use safety eyes for my little animals, but that is optional and you can embroider the eyes if you prefer. See the full list of supplies below.
