5 Little Monsters: BOO! Sign

BOO! Sign

This week I am joining with a whole bunch of other bloggers to share some quick and easy, 15 minute or less, Halloween projects that you can make with a Cricut. And you may want to stick around to the end of this post because along with lots of fun Halloween ideas there is a giveaway too, and it's a good one.

For my project I decided to make a quick little sign. I am more a fan of cutesy Halloween than I am of scary or gory Halloween and I wanted something really simple, it did have to be a project that could be done in 15 minutes or less after all (not including drying time). I thought this little sign ended up being the perfect for both, it is cute and simple. Just a little bit of paint and vinyl and you have a new little sign to decorate for Halloween.

How to make a Boo! Sign for Halloween

Finished size 8" x 8"

You will need:

Prepare your board by painting the entire board orange on the front and the sides, then set the board aside to dry. Cut the design from the file in the link above. The circle is cut from white vinyl and the word and trim are cut from black vinyl.

Place the white circle in the middle of your board. Use transfer tape to place the Boo! in the middle of the white circle. Then place one strip of trim along the top of the board and one along the bottom, leaving a little bit of orange between the strip and the edge. I set the strips to cut at 8" exactly but my board must have been just under 8" across so I had a little extra on each end but I just folded it over the edge and pressed it down.

That's all there is to it. Super quick and simple. Be sure to go check out all of the other quick Halloween Cricut projects that are part of this Craft Lightning series.
