It is Day 5 of the Spring Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along and today's little farm animal won't be a big surprise. Today we add little lamb to the mix.

The lamb is the last of the animals that was included in the sneak peek announcement post so from now on all of the animals will be a surprise, although knowing the theme you may be able to guess a few of the animals to come.

The little lamb is made with a variation of the body that the other animals use, the stitch counts are the same as the other animals, but the lamb uses an alternating puff stitch and single crochet stitch to give it the bumpy wooly body. The stitch change combined with the wool cap on the lambs head makes the lamb sit just slightly taller than the other animals but just by a little bit.

I used white for the wooly parts of my lamb and gray for the other parts, but you could do all white, or white wool with a cream or tan face and legs for little bit of contrast, or make a black wool sheep. There are a few options that would look cute for a little lamb.
