I have needed something new to hang on my door and for a while now I have been wanting to make a wooden welcome sign. After a summer of not having a lot of time to craft I finally sat down and made my welcome sign. It felt really great to get some crafting time in and even better to finish a project that I could use in my home.

This time of year I always start thinking about school supplies, not just for the kids though. I think the little felted wool balls can be so cute for different projects but I have never tried making them. In my family growing up family vacations in the summer usually meant camping. I have spent most of my life in the western United States, mostly in Utah and Idaho, where there are mountains and beautiful areas to camp. One year we all saved up our money to buy a camper so we could take that camping with us. I have lots of good memories of taking that camper places with my family. Then when we got the LEGO set I shared in my last post it made me think of that and I decided I wanted to crochet a camper.
