Summer Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along- Camping Edition

I am excited to announce a new Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along- Summer 2023. It will be starting July 3rd, 12 new patterns will be released over the course of 2 weeks. One new pattern each day Monday-Saturday, with the last pattern released on July 15th. 

The Summer 2023 Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along will be a camping theme. I asked for votes on Facebook and Instagram to help choose the theme for this one and the camping theme won by a landslide on both. The crochet along will include 12 mini amigurumi items that are in some way connected to camping. There will be a mixture of animals that you may see in the mountains or woods as well as items you may bring with you or use on a camping trip (a flashlight for example, as seen in the announcement post).  

Each of the mini amigurumi will be about 3-4", though the sizes will vary since they are all different shapes. They will all be small and stuffed. Small items means they will work up pretty quick and not use a lot of yarn. 

Speaking of yarn, all of the items will be made with medium/worsted weight acrylic yarn in a variety of colors. These are great for using up yarn in your stash. I use a variety of brands for my amigurumi including Red Heart Super Saver, Loops & Threads Impeccable, I Love this Yarn, Lion Brand Basic Stitch, and other similar yarns. Here is a list of the supplies you will need to make the set of mini amigurumi:

• Worsted Weight Acrylic Yarn in a variety of colors
• G Crochet Hook 
• Fiberfill Stuffing
• Yarn Needle
• Stitch Markers
• 6 mm Safety Eyes 
• 9 mm safety noses
• Embroidery Floss (black) and Needle

As each amigurumi pattern is released I will add the link to this post so that all of the patterns will be linked in one place. The patterns will be free on my blog and will remain there, but after all of the patterns have been released there will also be an ebook available for purchase with all 12 patterns in one place for those that prefer a ad-free/printable version.
