Easter is just a couple of weeks away so I thought it would be fun for this week's Friday Five roundup to do amigurumi bunnies. I have a few different stuffed bunny patterns on my blog that would be perfect for making for Easter, and maybe putting in an Easter basket. Everything from little mini bunnies, to bunnies with outfits, and big squishy bunnies.
Amigurumi Bunnies to Crochet for Easter
Here are 5 bunnies that you can crochet this Easter, or anytime. Some of them come with patterns for other animals as well, and some are just a bunny, in all shapes and sizes.
1- Squishy Bunny
This first bunny I am including on this list is the Squishy Bunny. This bunny is made with a soft plush yarn that makes a nice squishy, cuddly stuffed animal. The idea with this design was to make something kind of similar to a Squishmallow type stuffed animal, so it is kind of just a big ball with ears and arms.
2- Long-Legged Bunny
The next pattern I am including on this list is my Long-Legged Bunny. You can make just the bunny itself, or I also have a pattern for some clothes and accessories you can make to dress it up. There is also a Cat and a Bear pattern and all of the clothes can mix and match between the 3 animals.
The patterns are all available as free patterns on my blog, or you can get all 3 animals, plus the clothes and accessories in an ebook that you can purchase in my Etsy or Ravelry Shops.
3- Spring Bunnies
Next up are little spring bunnies made with pastel rainbow yarn, although you could make them in any color you want. With these bunnies I wanted more of a floppy ear bunny, rather than the ears that stick up like the other bunnies on the list.
4- Mini Ami Bunny
5- Bunny Surprise Egg
The last project I decided to include on this list is my Surprise Eggs, which includes 4 little animals that fit inside little eggs with a button closure. One of the animals included in the set is a bunny and the little eggs are perfect to put in an Easter basket.
