5 Little Monsters: Hot Chocolate- Mini Amigurumi Advent Day 6

Hot Chocolate- Mini Amigurumi Advent Day 6

Mini Amigurumi Advent Day 6 project is a cute little mug of Hot Chocolate, with marshmallows of course. Perfect for any cold, snowy winter day, or a ride on the Polar Express where they serve Hot, Hot, Hot, Hot Choc-o-late.

The little mug is about 3" tall, with a little handle on one side. It is topped off with a brown circle of hot chocolate with 3 little marshmallows. You can make the mug any color you want, I chose a light pink color.

Like with the others, I added a tiny little smiley face to the front of the mug, 2 little safety eyes and a tiny embroidered smile.

We are now a quarter of the way through the Mini Amigurumi Advent. I hope you are enjoying it as much as I am.

How to Crochet a Mug of Hot Chocolate

Finished Size: 3" tall

You will need:

Instructions:

Each of the pieces begin with a magic ring

Start with the hot chocolate round, you will add it to the mug in one of the last rounds of the mug so you want to have it done before you start the mug.

The top edge of the mug is worked in reverse single crochet, or crab stitch. If you would rather you can just work a round of regular single crochet stitches instead of the reverse single crochet round. If you are unfamiliar with the reverse single crochet/crab stitch see the video below for help.

  3. These ornaments are absolutely darling. What little child wouldn't like to have their own tree with these on it. I look forward to seeing the remaining 18 and getting them done for my grands.

  5. I just finished the hot chocolate and it was fun! I think it turned out pretty good for a first amigurumi. Thank you for these adorable patterns. I’m deciding which one to try next. I would have added a photo but not sure how.
