Valentine's Day is only a few days away so I am going to squeeze in one last printable card set with just enough time to print them out and get some little toys or treats to go along with them if you want.
I already shared one new set of valentine cards, Robot Valentines, but I have one more I wanted to share this year before Valentine's Day. I let my 4th grader help me pick the themes for this year and in addition to the robot theme I posted yesterday he also chose a space theme. I gave him a handful of themes to choose from and he thought he could only choose one and he didn't know how to pick between space and robots because he said they were two of his favorite things, so he was very happy when I told him he could pick more than one.
For this theme I made 3 different card designs, and when you print them each design is on its own sheet. So there are 3 pages and each one has 4 cards of the same design. One says "You are Out of this World, Valentine", another says "Best Friend in the Galaxy", and the last one says "You are a Superstar!"
I always like to pick a little toy or trinket to pair with my printable valentines, but you could definitely just use the cards by themselves. I have shared in previous posts how my daughter's diabetes diagnosis when she was 7 was the inspiration for creating some valentine ideas to pair with non-food gifts, and it is something I have continued to do each year. But that is obviously an optional way to use the cards.
I found a few options for little, inexpensive toys that could be paired with the space theme. I let my son choose the toy to put with these valentines and he chose Space Bouncy Balls, but some other inexpensive options that I found are Astronaut Erasers, Rocket Flashlights, Space Bookmarks, Space Slap Bracelets, Galaxy Stress Balls, and Bendy Astronauts.
Printable Space Valentine Cards
You will need:
- Space Valentines PDF Download
- printer
- white cardstock
- paper cutter or scissors
- space themed toys
Instructions:
Print as many copies of the PDF as you need, each page will have 4 cards, all of one design, and there are 3 pages/designs.
Cut the cards out, I used the paper cutter to cut them apart.
Pair the little toys or favors with the cards. You can tape them together, put them in a bag and staple the card to the bag, punch a hole and tie them together, or any other way you would like to pair them.
