Today is the final day, Day 6 of the Bewitching Bears Crochet Along. For the last bear in the set we have a Little Vampire Bear.

This crochet along has flown by and I can't believe it is the last day. Making these bears has been a lot of fun, especially having the whole set together.

The Little Vampire Bear is made in the same way, with the same basic pattern as the other bears in the set. He has black hair on his head that comes to a point on his forehead. He also has a black cape with a red bow tie. I chose to make the bear out of a cream colored yarn, I wanted something light colored to kind of represent the pale color of a vampire.

My original plan had been to add little fangs to the mouth, but then I forgot to add a mouth when I made the first bear and took all of the pictures so I decided to just go with it and not put mouths on any of them, which wasn't an issue until the last bear. I didn't want to add a mouth to this one after not putting one on any of the others. If you wanted to add a mouth with little fangs I think it would be cute, but I feel like the hair and the cape with the bow tie still give vampire vibes even without the teeth.

The vampire bear is about 6" tall sitting, same as the others. Like all of the others it is made with medium/worsted weight yarn, and I used a combination of Red Heart Super Saver and Loops & Threads Impeccable but you could use any similar yarn.

And that is it for the Bewitching Bears Crochet Along! I hope you enjoyed these little bears. Stay tuned for an announcement coming soon about the Winter/Christmas Crochet Along.
