Lemon Peel Washcloth

I really enjoy making crocheted washcloths or dishcloths because they are a great way to try out new stitches. They are pretty quick to make and a set of them can make a great gift.

Pair two or three washcloths with some pretty smelling soaps or lotions for a nice little gift set. It would make a great gift for Mother's Day.

This washcloth is made with a really simple stitch called the lemon peel stitch. It uses two basic stitches, single crochet and double crochet, to create a great texture. It is a really easy stitch to learn with a simple repeat. It is also easy to adjust the size to make it larger or smaller.
