Bunny Tails Sign

With Easter just around the corner I have been wanting to make some Easter decorations, but since it is coming up quick I wanted something I could make up really fast. This little Bunny Tails Sign fit the bill perfectly.

Hello Fall Sign

I have a wooden sign that I bought several months ago without a specific project in mind. I had a few ideas but never ended up making any of them, so I ended up just having a blank wooden sign sitting around. I figured with a new season  just around the corner I would finally use that board.

Hello Summer Circle Sign

I can't believe that summer is almost here. My kids only have a couple of weeks of school left before they are out for summer vacation. So with spring holidays over and summer just around the corner I have been trying to switch my crafting focus to summer crafts.

Merry Christmas Ornament Sign

I'm sure everyone has seen the circle signs that are everywhere this year, especially for Christmas. Sometimes they are made with wood rounds, sometimes dollar store pizza pans, but whatever they are made with, they have been super popular lately.

Metal Mandalorian Sign (and Baby Yoda Themed Christmas Tree)

One of my favorite parts of Christmas is setting up and decorating the Christmas tree. Our big tree that goes in our front room is full of all sorts of mismatched ornaments that have been collected over the years. It isn't the most Instagram worthy, beautiful tree, but I absolutely love it. It is full of memories and it is the kind of tree we always had when I was a kid. But there is also a part of me that always wants to make a themed tree too so when we decided to set up our small tree in the basement I decided I wanted to do a theme.

Happy Halloween Sign

Once September hits it always feels to me like the rest of the year flies by. Now that kids are back in school before we know it it will be October and Halloween, then Thanksgiving, and Christmas. I'm not sure what Halloween is going to look like this year, but whether or not there is trick-or-treating and  Halloween parades at school, one thing we can do no matter what is make cute decorations to put up in our houses.

Dream Big Sign

For Christmas we put together a little craft area for our oldest daughter. She loves making things and spending time in my craft room playing with all of my supplies. A month or two ago I shared part of the gift we put together for her. We put together a beginner craft kit with lots of supplies so that she could make pretty much anything she wanted without needing to get into my stuff.

I recently shared a simple Christmas craft project over on Design Dazzle as part of their Christmas Wonderful Series and today I am going to share it here. This little Joy Wreath Sign is a really quick and easy project to make, and I think it turned out pretty cute.

Buffalo Check Believe Sign

A couple of months ago I ordered some red and black buffalo check vinyl from Cricut, thinking that it would be fun for Christmas projects. I am starting to work on more Christmas crafts and finally had the chance to pull it out and use it on something.

October Quote Canvas

October is probably my favorite month of the year. It happens to be my birthday month but that isn't the only reason I love it. First of all, I love the fall. It is my favorite season. I love the cooler weather, the changing colors of the leaves, and I love the fact that it is the beginning of the holiday season. I love the excitement of Halloween, followed by Thanksgiving and Christmas. Plus it is crochet season, time to make warm, cozy hats and scarves for everyone.

I have needed something new to hang on my door and for a while now I have been wanting to make a wooden welcome sign. After a summer of not having a lot of time to craft I finally sat down and made my welcome sign. It felt really great to get some crafting time in and even better to finish a project that I could use in my home.

Stenciled Address Sign and Front Door Update

There is not much time left before the weather starts to cool and summer is over. Fall is my favorite time of year so I am not sad about that, but I had an outdoor project that I had been wanting to do for a while and I wanted to make sure I got it done before it started getting to cold. We have lived in our house for over 7 years and when we first bought the house we said that one of the first things we wanted to do was paint the doors. They were a kind of sagey green color and they weren't very well painted because you could see a brighter teal color coming through in some areas. I didn't love the color and we figured painting them would be an easy fix and a lot less expensive than replacing the doors.
