Normally I feel like it comes time for the next season and therefore the next mini amigurumi crochet along and I say something along the lines of I can't believe it is already this season, but this time I am so ready for it to be fall. I am ready for cooler temperatures, plus it is just my favorite time of year. There is just a cozy feeling that comes with fall that I love. September 1st can only mean one thing, it is time for another Bear of the Month! September was actually kind of a harder one for me because there aren't really any holidays in September. But it is the start of fall so I figured I would do something fall related. I tossed around a few different ideas that I was considering, which is pretty much the same thing that happens every month because I always have a hard time deciding. One thing that starts up in the fall, and specifically in September, is football, and I thought a little Football Bear would be pretty cute. So that is what I decided to go with. This month's bear is the Football Bear.

In the United States I feel like the month of July is immediately associated with the 4th of July, so I felt like I had to do a bear that was in some way related to the 4th of July or the USA in some way. Today is Day 7 of the Summer Cookout Mini Amigururmi Crochet Along, the start of the second half of the crochet along. For today's mini amigurumi I wanted to make another dessert, and I thought I knew what I was going to make up until I was ready to start, and then I decided it just wasn't quite the right fit.
