Easy Crochet Baby Blanket on Craftaholics Anonymous

I meant to share this a a couple of weeks ago but I posted my last project on Craftaholics Anonymous earlier this month. I shared the pattern for an easy crocheted baby blanket. It is one of my favorite crocheted blanket patterns. It uses the v-stitch which is a really easy stitch and by using 3 colors and changing each row there is no need to cut the yarn each time and end up with tons of loose ends to weave in, all you need to do is carry the colors up the side. Then when you add the border everything is covered up. Head over to Craftaholics Anonymous to get the free pattern for this Easy Crocheted Baby Blanket.

Crocheted Jute Christmas Ornaments on Craftaholics Anonymous

Today I am over on Craftaholics Anonymous sharing some crocheted Christmas Ornaments. There are 2 patterns, a heart and a star. They are both really simple so they can be made really fast if you are still looking for some last minute projects. Instead of using yarn to make the ornaments I made them with jute. This gave them kind of a rustic look but if that isn't your style they could easily be made with yarn instead. Head over to Craftaholics Anonymous to get the patterns.

Embroidered Felt Snowflake Ornaments on Craftaholics Anonymous

Yesterday my latest post for Craftaholics Anonymous was posted and I wanted to share it here so that you can go check it out. I wanted to make a quick and easy, cute Christmas project so I came up with some simple little snowflake ornaments. They are just a little snowflake embroidered on a circle of felt, simple but pretty. I love red and white together at Christmas time so I used red felt for my felt circles but I think a light blue or turquoise would be really pretty for the background as well.

Candy Corn Bunting on Craftaholics Anonymous

Crocheted Candy Corn Bunting Free Pattern Halloween Decor

Today over on Craftaholics Anonymous I am sharing a Halloween themed crochet pattern. There was a little sneak peek of it in my crocheted ghost post in one of the pictures. I made a little candy corn bunting. It is a pretty simple project, just little striped triangles all crocheted together on a string. I thought it would be kind of a fun, playful touch to Halloween decor. And, if you don't want to make a bunting you could always just make the candy corns and use them as coasters for Halloween.

Crocheted Doily Trivets on Craftaholics Anonymous

crochet doily trivets free pattern

My post over on Craftaholics Anonymous this month is up and I am sharing another crochet pattern. Ever since I made my doily bunting, my very first post on Craftaholics Anonymous, I have wanted to try making that pattern into a full doily. I like the look of doilies but I really do not like making them with thread, they take forever. By making these doilies with cotton yarn they work up really fast and they work great as trivets or hot pads.

You can find the free pattern HERE.

Crocheted Owl Pencil Bag on Craftaholics Anonymous

Today I am sharing another variation of the basic crocheted pencil bag over on Craftaholics Anonymous. This time it is a Crocheted Owl Pencil Bag. It is the basic bag with a couple of color changes in the middle and then some big round eyes and a beak sewn on. Some little ear tassels finish it off. Crocheted owl hats are probably the thing I have gotten the most requests to make so when I thought of ways to make the basic a little more fun an owl just seemed like an obvious one to make.

Modern Crochet Coasters on Craftaholics Anonymous

I'm sharing a new crochet pattern over on Craftaholics Anonymous. It is a crocheted coaster set that is inspired by modern, geometric designs and natural colors combined with pops of bright colors. Coasters are a nice summer crochet project because they are small which is great for a couple of reasons, one, they work up really fast and it's always nice to make something that you can  finish quickly, and two, you aren't covered in a heavy warm yarn project when it is so hot outside. Also, sometimes it is hard to want to make hats and scarves and other cold weather projects when it is 100 degrees outside. It is nice to have a project that you don't have to wait until fall or winter to use. Head over to Craftaholics Anonymous to get the pattern.

Roll Up Picnic Placemats on Craftaholics Anonymous

This month on Craftaholics Anonymous I am sharing a tutorial for these Roll Up Picnic Placemats. They are perfect for a summer picnic or barbecue. They have a pocket for your utensils and a napkin, a tutorial for a cloth napkin is also included, and you can roll it up and tie it closed for easy transport. To find out how to make your own picnic placemats here.

Crochet Washcloth Tutorial on Craftaholics Anonymous

On Craftaholics Anonymous today I am sharing a crochet washcloth pattern. They are made using the blossom stitch, a crochet stitch that uses a combination of single crochet, double crochet, and chain stitches to make a slightly lacy, textured stitch. With Mother's Day less than a week away these would be a nice  and easy addition to a Mother's Day gift with some pretty lotion or soap.

It seems like this is the time of year when lots of people are having babies and there is always a need for a baby gift. I love giving handmade gifts and on Craftaholics Anonymous I am sharing an easy handmade gift that can be completely personalized for the person you are giving it to. These embroidered baby onesies and really fun and easy to make. They don't take a lot of time to make and, although I share the patterns for the designs I made, you can put anything on them.

Embroidering on knits can be a little challenging but I tried out a few different methods and came up with one that I think makes it really easy. Come check it out here.

Hearts and Doilies Valentine Bunting Tutorial on Craftaholics Anonymous

If you follow me on Facebook you will already know this, but this year I have the amazing opportunity to be a part of the Creative Team on Craftaholics Anonymous. Each month, starting this month, I will be posting a project over there. My first post was published today!

I shared a tutorial to make a crocheted Valentine's bunting with hearts and doilies as well as an alternate version without the hearts. It could be a cute addition to your Valentine decor or you could use it to decorate somewhere else. It would be cute in a little girls nursery or baby shower or even at a wedding. My heart version is actually hanging up in my daughters room above her bed. She loved it and really wanted it in her room and it looks pretty cute in there so I gave in. The version without the hearts could be hung on a mantle for any holiday, just choose colors that work with your holiday decorations.

I am really excited to have this opportunity to share this project, go check it out here.
