It is Day 12, the final day of the Summer Cookout Mini Amigururmi Crochet Along and the last little food item in the series is probably not a huge surprise because I have hinted at it a couple of times, plus I am sure it is one of the first things many people think of when they think of a backyard barbecue. Today is Day 7 of the Summer Cookout Mini Amigururmi Crochet Along, the start of the second half of the crochet along. For today's mini amigurumi I wanted to make another dessert, and I thought I knew what I was going to make up until I was ready to start, and then I decided it just wasn't quite the right fit. I started thinking about what a good summer dessert would be and I decided on another cold, icy treat, just in a little bit different shape than the popsicle from earlier in the crochet along, today we are adding a Tiny Snow Cone.

Summer is in full swing here and life has been a bit crazy with all of the summer activities. I have not been posting as much as I had hoped to the past couple of months. Every year as the school year winds down I think that this year will be different and I will actually be organized enough to get all of the projects I have planned done and posted despite every other part of my life being super busy. And then May arrives and there are a million end of the school year activities and then summer comes and everything that comes along with that, having kids home, trips, camps, running kids to all of their activities, and I find myself realizing that it has been almost a month since I last posted and in fact this year was not different than other and I am just as behind on getting posts up as I am every other year.
