I feel like I have been in a bit of a crochet funk lately. I think with the weather warming up and spring just around the corner I haven't wanted to make any more wintery projects like hats and scarves, even though those are things I typically enjoy making. Not that there aren't plenty of non-winter things you can crochet, it is just a matter of making that shift in my mind.

One of my go-to, any time of year, crochet projects is amigurumi and a bunny has been on my list of things I want to make for a while now, so I figured with Easter coming soon now was as good a time as any.

I wanted to try a little bit different style than I normally make so I went with this long legged bunny. The legs, body, and head are all worked in one piece and the arms and ears are sewn on.

As I was making the bunny I had ideas for a couple other animals I wanted to make with the same style of body and just a few small changes, so look for more animals coming soon.

The finished bunny (from bottom of legs to top of head, not counting ears) is 13 inches.
