A few weeks ago I went to Michaels and saw that they had a bunch of new yarn, including several new types and colors of Caron Cakes. One that I thought looked really fun and a perfect color way for spring was one of the Caron Upside Down Cakes in the color Candy Floss.

Easter is just a couple of weeks away so I thought it would be fun for this week's Friday Five roundup to do amigurumi bunnies. I have a few different stuffed bunny patterns on my blog that would be perfect for making for Easter, and maybe putting in an Easter basket. Everything from little mini bunnies, to bunnies with outfits, and big squishy bunnies.

I have been wanting to make some spring projects, I am just feeling ready for spring. This winter was weird and never really felt like winter so I think I spent the last few months waiting for winter to finally arrive, but now that it is March I am ready for it to just be spring, for the grass to start turning green, the flowers to start blooming, and just to feel like spring.

Today is technically Day 3 of the Book Inspired Craft Week, but I actually missed getting yesterday's pattern up so it is actually only Day 2. I had some other stuff come up yesterday that took longer than anticipated and used up the time I planned to finish up editing a video I needed to go along with the project. So I will push that off to another day, normally my Book Inspired Craft Week runs Monday-Friday, but we might be adding a project on Saturday to make up for the skipped one, I will find some time to get it posted.
