5 Little Monsters: How to Crochet the Crab Stitch or Reverse Single Crochet

How to Crochet the Crab Stitch or Reverse Single Crochet

After I made my last video on how to make a magic ring, I asked readers/viewers if there were any specific tutorials they would like to see, any stitches, tips, etc. that would be helpful. One of the request that I had was for a tutorial on the crab stitch, aka reverse single crochet. I decided that that would be my next video so here it is:

The reverse single crochet is exactly what it sounds like, you are working single crochet stitches, insert in stitch, pull up yarn, yarn over, pull through loops on hook, the only difference is that you work them backwards, meaning I work the stitches from left to right instead of right to left. It can feel a little awkward when you first get started but as you keep going it gets better.

I hope you find this tutorial helpful and let me know if there is a stitch, tip, or trick you would like to see a video for and maybe that will be the next one that I make.
