5 Little Monsters: Mickey ASL I Love You T-Shirt Design

Mickey ASL I Love You T-Shirt Design

A few weeks ago I shared an ASL Mickey t-shirt design that I made for my son and my husband for our Disneyland trip a couple months ago but I have a couple more ASL Disney shirts that I haven't shared yet. I figured it was time to fix that and share another.

This Mickey I love You shirt was made for my 8 year old daughter. She is also deaf and her favorite character is Minnie, I probably should have put Minnie on the shirt instead of Mickey, but she liked it just fine with Mickey and he is just an easier shape. Anyway, one of my favorite moments was when Minnie saw her shirt and she signed I love you to Lucy. Lucy loved it.

She also met Rey that day and when Rey saw me signing to Lucy she knelt down and signed to her. She asked Lucy her name and signed hers. It was so neat for Lucy. I love when people know even just a little bit of sign language to communicate with my kids. It definitely gave the moments a little extra Disney magic for her.

For this shirt I created a simple Mickey head shape. Then I cut an I love you handshape out of the Mickey head, a little off center. It was a super simple one color design with no little pieces to weed.
