It is time for the Fall 2026 Mini Amigurumi Crochet Along! Today is Day 1 of the Happy Harvest Mini Amigururmi Crochet Along. The sedge stitch is a pretty crochet stitch that is made with a simple 1 row repeat using 3 basic stitches- single crochet, half double crochet, and double crochet. It is a solid stitch (not full of holes), and gives some texture to the finished project, a little bit of a puffy texture. It is great for a number of projects and I have used it in a few different patterns.

Normally I feel like it comes time for the next season and therefore the next mini amigurumi crochet along and I say something along the lines of I can't believe it is already this season, but this time I am so ready for it to be fall. I am ready for cooler temperatures, plus it is just my favorite time of year. There is just a cozy feeling that comes with fall that I love.
